  • Downhill mountain biking

For road bikes lovers, enduro bikes enthusiasts, downhill bikes or electrically assisted bikes fans, discover Courchevels' Bike Park, which is sure going to delight you! Ride down one of the 5 downhill tracks or follow one of the 8 itineraries on a electrically assisted bike or a mountain bike to discover the villages of Courchevel and the sublime landscapes that surround them. To access the domain, take the free ski lifts during the summer season! 

For the more experienced, "L'intégral" is the biking trail that will suit you best! It is primarily aimed at experienced riders, with a total length of 13 km! The panoramas along the route on the Mont-Blanc, the Grande Casse and the glaciers of the Vanoise are worth a look 😉

 

  • Hiking

There are various walks to be discovered in the surroundings of the resort of Courchevel for exceptional views of the great peaks of the Vanoise and the Mont-Blanc! A non-exhaustive list of hikes not to be missed: The crests of Mont Charvet with a breathtaking panorama of the mountains, the Col de la Loze accessible by hike and bike, the Lac bleu and its pure and clear waters and the Merlets lakes located in the heart of the Vanoise National Park. 

 

  • Trail 

At an altitude of 2,284 m, La dent du Villard is a trail that stretches over 13 km. When you arrive, you will be rewarded by the magnificent panorama of Mont Blanc and the Vanoise glaciers. A good training is required before tackling this climb! 

 

  • Via ferrata  

Via ferrata has never been so easy! The steps and metal bars simplify your route and your cable, attached to a metal chain, ensures your safety. Enjoy your outing and the beautiful sceneries along the way with peace of mind! 

 

  • Rock climbing

Courchevel has equipped and secured climbing sites of different levels of difficulty, from beginner to advanced. The Valley des Avals, located in Courchevel Moriond, has 12 routes of several lengths and a ridge crossing (the Plassa rocks). In Courchevel 1850 on the site of La Saulire, climb routes of several lengths, close to the top of the cable car. Finally, the Praméruel cliff has 55 routes and is indended for the more experienced climbers! At the top, admire the views of the Vanoise and Mont Blanc glaciers.

What to do in Courchevel in summer : cultural activities 

  • Guided visits

Take part in guided tours to discover the history of Courchevel. Visit the Sainte-Marie-Madelaine chapel, stroll through the streets of the different villages and finally discover the ski jumps which are part of one of the facilities required to host the World Ski Championships which will take place in 2023!

 

  • Exhibitions and art galleries

For art collectors and enthusiasts, visit the Galerie Bartoux in the centre of Courchevel 1850. This contemporary art gallery is part of an international group of 18 galleries around the world representing a whole new generation of artists.  

 

  • Cooking classes

The restaurant, Le Chabichou offers cooking classes every Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 12pm for adults and Wednesdays from 5pm to 6:30pm for children. Book in advance! Only 3 adults at a time will be able to benefit from the expertise of the chef.
