Go to Courmayeur, Chamonix's lesser-known Italian sister, which has nothing to envy to her. In winter, the main reason for going there is to ski on quality slopes and access glacier areas such as the Chécrouit glacier in the Val Veny. Three lifts lead to the resort: the Val Veny cable car, the cable car from Courmayeur town centre and the new Dolonne gondola which connects Chamonix to the ski resort.
