Discovery walk in and around Chamonix - Half day

Starting from the center of Chamonix, the Place de la Gare, Michaël, your mountain leader, will show you around Chamonix and share with you stories of the different areas, buildings, and will retrace the beginnings of Chamonix!

Your guide, Michaël, grew up not far from Chamonix and knows it like the back of his hand. He will share with you stories about the evolution of the town and its population, but also what the town is like today, businesses and its inhabitants. How it grew to be the alpine climbing hub of the world.

Stroll through the streets of downtown, stop at the “guide wall” and listen to stories of the great people and climbers of the Mont Blanc. Michaël will tell you about the iconic buildings of Chamonix such as the English bar, you’ll stroll across the Arve river and Michaël will explain its particularities...

Continue your experience with an easy hike towards the Floria, learn more about the geography of the Chamonix valley and the iconic mountains that make it up.

Once you arrive at the Floria hut, take the time to enjoy the view of the Mont Blanc mountain range while having a coffee or tea on the terrace. You will admire the Mont Blanc, Chamonix in a magically alpine setting with abundant flowers, and greenery.

A cultural half day hike, with breathtaking landscapes as a backdrop, a Kodiak moment indeed.
