2 - Fat Bike, to exploring snow-covered paths by bike!  

Oversized tires, electric assistance, experienced and passionate guides: this is all you’ll need for an amazing experience in Chamonix this winter! In fact, this particular bike allows you to ride on snow, and even on ice. Experience sensations you have never experienced before! 

Samuel, Michael, or Philippe will give you pointers how to control the bike on slippery surfaces and accompany you along the forest trails. Also learn much more than just biking with the many stories of our interesting guides about the surrounding mountains and forests.

3 – Want to experience some new and exciting? SLIPT is for you! 

Love the great outdoors but want to try something new?  

A day or half day adventure with one of guides discovering the off-the-beaten-paths of the Savoie Mont Blanc region.  

With the Split, the downhill slopes become even more exciting. Combination between rando ski touring skis and a snowboard.  

Greg, your instructor, will help along the way to really feel the exciting sensations of this new discipline. And at the same time, he will share his knowledge about this iconic massif.

4 – Discover the amazing Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace. 

Among all of the most visited sites around the Mont Blanc, the 360° views of the massifs of Mont Blanc and the valley of Chamonix are best admired from the top of the Aiguille du Midi (at the altitude of more than 12,600 feet). From Chamonix, you will take two cable cars to the out-of-this-world observation station and departure of the Mer de Glace for climbers and skiers.   

Admire the Mont Blanc, roof of Europe, that stands at an altitude of 15,771 feet, from its best vista point and catch a glimpse of the beginning the Mer de Glace glacier, witness of the climate changes of our era.  

Then on to the Montervers refuge and on the train for another exciting and interesting point of view. Enjoy local specialties for lunch while taking in all of the natural beauty the Mer de Glace and the surrounding mountain summits.  

An experience in itself the age-old, famous little red train that winds its way through beautiful forests to the vintage point of 6300 feet.

5 – A cosy evening in a unique and authentic chalet!  

A great evening of contemplating the beauty of nature while Snowshoeing through the forests, along snowy paths with your guide.  

You’ll across an inviting chalet with a cosy and authentic atmosphere. Enjoy a dinner of local dishes, in the warmth of an open fire.  

After the meal, you have two options to get to your accommodation, either snowshoeing under the stars, or with a private driver in a comfortable ride!   

 

6 – Wildlife observation  

A family favourite, hiking, snowshoeing, discovering wildlife for half a day or full day with your expert guide who knows the best spots to observe mountain wildlife. Chamois, marmots, ibex or mouflons... shhh be discreet and observe.  

With snowshoes on trails, and a telescope in hand, admire animals in their habitat without disturbing them. Your guide will teach you all you need to know about the region, its mountains and animals.

7 – Building igloos: a winter favourite 

One of the most emblematic activities in snowy weather, ideal for families, friends and colleagues.  

Enjoy nature while snowshoeing, your local, mountain expert will guide you along the forest paths in and around Chamonix to find the best spot to build an igloo.  

Your guide will teach you the different steps and technics for a perfect igloo.  

Finish off the evening in the igloo with drinks.  

 

8 - SNOOC: an exciting new concept! 

Have you heard of it? A fun new activity that you absolutely have to try!  

SNOOC is an innovative combination of ski touring and sledging. An ingenious system, when bringing together the two skis you build a sled.  

Make your way easily to the top of a slope with your ski touring skis and whizzz down the slope with your sledge.
